There were finally 11 anglers
showed up the 5th tournament of 2004. We had 5 boats. The weather
was cloudy. The temperature was dropped to 72 degree. The water
temperature was around 74 degree. The river water in North was muddy
and in south was stained/murky.
There was only 1 smallmouth bass
that had been caught. Only 1 out of 11 anglers who caught 1 smallmouth
bass.
Our new face and rookie angler
Tim Mulford won his first place. He know how to catch 1 nice size
smallmouth bass. His total weight was 1.84 lbs and also he won lunker
of the day. His lunker weight was 1.84 lbs. He used his favorite
spinnerbaits. He proved that he knows how to catch smallmouth bass
at upper suquehanna river on his jet boat. We would like to congratulate
to Tim Mulford!
We also welcome to our new MDB member Eric Peer and two former MDB
members Thomas Martin and Richard Wyatt.
Our next tournament will be at the Potomac River at Marshall Ramp
on August 21st . Please contact Delmas Woodall if you're going to
there in one week before Aug. 14th.
