There were finally 9 anglers
showed up the 4th tournament of 2004. We had 4 boats. The weather
was cloudy. The temperature was dropped to 72 degree. The water
temperature was around 74 degree. The river water in North was muddy
and in south was stained/murky.
There was only 6 largemouth bass
that had been caught, and the total weight was 8.61 lbs. Only 3
out of 7 anglers caught largemouth bass.
Our new face and long timer
angler Paul Rosado won first place. He know how to catch 2 nice
largemouth bass. His total weight was 3.64 lbs and also he won lunker
of the day. His lunker weight was 2.34 lbs. He used his favorite
jigs. He proved that he knows how to catch largemouth bass at tough
condition at Potomac River. Rookie Tim Mulford won 2nd place and
he caught three largemouth bass on his jet boat where he caught
at shallow river of Pohick Bay. Chris von Garrel won 3rd place with
one bass. We would like to congratulate to Paul Rosado!
Our next tournament will be at the Susquehanna
River,
Glen Cove on July 18th . Please contact Delmas Woodall if
