Jason Teramae won his 2nd
straight tournament of the 2003 season and also set a personal
best when he hauled in 5 bass to become the 4th Maryland Angler
ever to make the "CREEL LIMIT" in 6 years. Jason
hit bass all day and "Culled" his catch, getting
a bigger bass and setting free 2 smaller smallmouth bass.
HIs efforts paid off hansomely as he walked away with the
$50 first place with a total weight of 5.91 pounds and also
the Lunker of the day 1.41 pound Smallie at 14 1/4 inches.
Dave Barker taking advantage of having Jason on his Boat also
hit 3 Bass to take 2nd place for a total weight of 3.22 pounds
and Chris Von Garrel riding with Ken J. Bower (King of the
Susquehanna) hit 2 bass and 3rd place for a total weight of
2.41 pounds. Newcomer George Dailey set his sights on Rookie
of the Year hitting one Bass at 12 1/4 inches and 0.78 pound
weight.
The MDB "Congradulates" Jason Teramae for making
his personal best of 5 Bass and joining the ranks of Top MDB
Anglers. Now Jason has his work cut out for him, He will try
to become the First Person in MDB History to WIN 3 Tournaments
in a row, A feat that has never been done but tried 8 times,
We want to "Wish Jason Good Luck" in his attempt
to break the Jinx on The Hat Trick of Tournament Victories
that has eluded MDB Anglers for 6 years.
Our Next Tournament will be at the RED HOT POTOMAC River,
America's Finest Bass Fishery! on July 12th at the Marshall
Hall Ramp from 6 am till 2 pm.
So come on out guys! Let's
give Jason a run for the money!
The MDB wishes all a Safe and Happy Fourth of July.
